Review Policies:
We provide honest and impartial evaluations of the books we review. We will clearly indicate if we are reviewing A Reader Copy (ARC) or a book received for free exchange for a review.
It is important to acknowledge that not every book will resonate with every reader; therefore, we reserve the right to discontinue reading (DNF) a book at any time should we find it unengaging or inappropriate for our rea
If we have read a substantial portion before choosing to not finish a book, we may assign a star rating and explain our reasons for not completing.

Please be advised that we do not review books that have been created, in whole or in part, using generative AI.
We reserve the right to decline any book review for any reason, even if does not fall into the aforementioned categories. Our reviews will include detailed feedback on what we appreciated or found lacking in the book, along with a score ranging from1 to 5, where 1 indicates a book, we did not enjoy and 5 represents those, we believe to be exceptional.
Our reviews are written in a conversational tone, akin to discussion among friends, prioritizing our personal insights over formal critiques. All reviews are conducted in fairness, honesty, and respect, reflecting our own opinions. There be no disparaging remarks regarding the book, author, publisher; however, not all reviews will be positive.
Should we find a book unsatisfactory, we will provide an explanation. In some circumstances, we may choose not to publish a review; in such cases we will contact the author or publisher to offer private feedback. We will always indicate if book was a review copy. We strive to review books within 1 to 4 weeks of starting them; however, during particularly busy periods, this may take longer. We manage this blog in our spare time alongside a full-time job, so the timing of our reviews depends on our available free time.
